Terms and Conditions


These general conditions apply to all sales of Woulgan® Biogel from Biotec BetaGlucans AS (hereinafter called “Biotec”).

When placing an order in the webshop, you are entering a legally binding contract and declaring that you are at least 18 years of age.

Intended use of Woulgan® Biogel

The product is intended to be used under supervision of health care professionals and primarily in hospitals or care units. Woulgan® Biogel is intended for single patient, single use as a primary dressing for dry or low exuding partial and full thickness dermal wounds including: diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, graft and donor sites, postoperative surgical wounds, trauma wounds (dermal lesions, trauma injuries or incisions), 1st and 2nd degree burns, abrasions and lacerations.

Order confirmation

An order confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address you provided upon registration. If there are any discrepancies between the order you placed and the details in the order confirmation, Biotec must be notified immediately. These terms and conditions for sale, or parts thereof, can only be changed by entering into a separate agreement or additional agreement. Upon receipt of the order confirmation, you are considered to have accepted these conditions unless a written notice is made immediately.


The prices in the webshop, and on the order confirmation, are displayed in Norwegian kroner (NOK), including Norwegian VAT.

For deliveries to Sweden, Denmark, Germany and th UK, the VAT amount will be deducted from the invoice. It is your own responsibility to check if you have to pay import duty and/or taxes for the products you have purchased.


Orders are normally shipped within a week after order placement. The standard shipping method is through Norway Post, and the delivery costs may vary depending on the destination country and package size.

If you do not take relevant steps for the goods to be received upon delivery, you are liable for all costs involved in taking care of the goods. You must be prepared for the eventuality that terminal owners or carriers destroy uncollected goods.

Cancellation Rights

According to Norwegian law on cancellation rights you are entitled to return the product without stating a reason, even if the product is not faulty. A cancellation rights form will be enclosed with the goods, or sent to you by email upon shipment.

If you wish to exert these rights, you have to notify Biotec within 14 days after receiving the goods. When filling in the cancellation rights form you have to specify how you will return the goods. You have to pay for the cost of returning the goods, and it is your responsibility that the goods are wrapped well enough to handle the return transport. When you use your cancellation rights the goods need to be returned within a reasonable amount of time.

The goods must be returned in the same condition as it was delivered, or the cancellation rights will no longer apply. Return the goods in its original wrapping if possible.


Upon shipment of the order, an invoice will be sent by email to the e-mail address you provided upon registration. Normal credit time is 14 days unless otherwise agreed. Alternative agreed terms shall be stated in the order confirmation or invoice.

In case of late payment the buyer must pay 9,75 per cent default interest per annum, calculated for the delayed period.


Biotec’s liability for faulty goods delivered is absolutely limited to redelivery of the quantity of goods shown to be faulty, free of cost to you. You are obliged to examine the goods immediately upon delivery and to notify Biotec in writing without undue delay and no later than three days after delivery. Alleged faulty goods shall be returned to Biotec or be secured upon instructions from Biotec. If the goods are shown to have been faulty, Biotec will cover the return freight.
